That painting was painted by Nicholas Pileggi's mum.
Nicholas Pileggi is who wrote Wiseguy which Goodfellas is based on.
Tommy's mum is played by Martin Scorsese's mum, and he himself also plays one of the blokes cooking in prison.

Goodfellas is one of my all time favourite films. Music, acting, actors, the filmography.
Ray Liotta was superb in it (but they all were).
I loved the bit at Joe Pesci's mum's house where they eat pasta and talk about the painting of the two dogs on the boat while borrowing a shovel from Mum to bury the deer they'd hit.
Towards the end when Hill becomes a coke head and dealer, his acting was superb.

Quite young to go by modern standards. As mentioned, some great films but Goodfellas the best of them. Pesci was the star for most of us and had the best lines but Liotta also made it a great movie.

That’s Unlawful Entry where he plays the cop who fancies Kurt Russell’s Wife who is the very nice Madeline Stowe.
He played a lunatic in that film.
Narc was another good one - again played a bad cop.

One of my favourite series he was in was a called Smith (2006). He runs a classy stylish heist gang ofJonny Lee Miller, Simon Baker, Virginia Masen and Amy Smart.
Recommend you check it out.
